Resources for Researchers is a web application that serves as a directory of NCI-supported tools and services for cancer researchers. Resources are developed and maintained by NCI scientists or were created with grant funding.
Researchers were having difficulty locating tools necessary for their research studies. A central location was integral to solving this issue.
I designed and prototyped a new responsive web application for researchers to access tools and databases. I observed usability testing sessions and interpreted findings along with analytics for future design enhancements. I conducted a card sort with users to inform classification and organization of terms within the tool. The app can be viewed at https://www.cancer.gov/research/resources.
